Tour plan
We leave Conwy Quay and quickly build speed, skimming across the water as the scenery
opens up around us. Keep an eye out for seabirds and porpoises as we head west along the
coastline.
Our first highlight is Hornby Cave, a striking sea cave carved deep into the limestone cliffs. As
we pass close by, you’ll hear how these caves were shaped by centuries of Atlantic swell - and
how they’ve been used over time by smugglers, fishermen, and wildlife alike.
From here, we open the throttles for an exhilarating run beneath the towering cliffs of the Great
Orme. This stretch is all about speed, spray, and adrenaline, with unbeatable views of the
headland rising above us.
We slow as we approach the iconic Great Orme Lighthouse, standing watch over the Irish Sea
since 1862. The surrounding waters are rich in marine life, making this a prime spot for wildlife
sightings.
Just beyond the lighthouse lies one of the region’s most active grey seal colonies. We cut the
engines and observe quietly, giving you the chance to watch seals hauled out on the rocks or
swimming curiously around the boat. Depending on the day, you may see pups, playful
juveniles, or adults basking in the sun - a real highlight of the trip.
After spending time with the seals, we fire back up for a final high-speed blast along the coast,
heading back to Conwy with huge smiles, windswept hair, and unforgettable memories.
